Dr. Michael Ward - Garner, NC Chiropractor
Dr. Michael Ward is an evidence-based natural physician rooted in functional medicine. Michael treats the whole patient considering nutrition and lifestyle choices to determine root-causes of imbalance, pain, and disease. Due to his extensive Hatha Yoga background, Dr. Ward provides unique yoga-integrated approaches to treatment and rehabilitation. Fifteen years of massage therapy entrained Michael’s hands to put patients at ease. Above all else, Michael is dedicated to helping patients embrace their limitations as opportunities to transform and grow: to see themselves as empowered, self-healing, and complete.
Michael graduated from UNC-G, a few years later from GTCC’s professional massage therapy program, attended Daoist Traditions College for Chinese Medical Arts, and most recently graduated from National University of Health Sciences with his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine degree.
Joining the Garner Chiropractic Partners office with Dr. Betsy is Michael’s most proud achievement to date! “It’s the perfect office with a staff that feels more like a loving family than co-workers. Everyone cares so genuinely that it becomes infectious.” Since Michael specializes in acupuncture and yoga-integrated physical rehabilitation and exercise, he adds a different perspective that fits naturally with the practice.
On the home front, Michael enjoys showing champion miniature schnauzer dogs, playing classical music (saxophones), gourmet cooking, international travel, and has a deep appreciation for the arts in general. He loves practicing yoga in nature, growing his own food, camping, boating, swimming, hiking, reading, and is a huge Star Trek fan!
